Welcome to BSM.wales

We provide quality scouting for almost 100 young people aged from 6 to 16. Each Section focuses on a specific age group and provides a programme based around three main themes: outdoor and adventure, world and skills.

In each section a range of badges and awards support all aspects of Scouting, including the main themes: leadership, teamwork and personal development. Buckley St Matthew’s Scout Group programme is exciting, fun and educational and enables young people to reach their potential in a safe and secure environment.

All Sections meet on a weekly basis and in addition take part in a variety of weekend activities, camps, sleepovers and international adventures.

Buckley St Matthew’s is run by a dedicated team of volunteers with varying backgrounds who hold the skills, qualities and experience necessary to run the varied programme we offer. All our volunteers hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service Check; our Section Leaders complete an appropriate training scheme and hold a current first response first aid certificate.
